HAHAHAHAHA maybe maybe not hehe no the man who named the place Iceland was called Hrafnar I think and it means Raven he came here when it was ice and snow everywhere so he called the island Iceland .
The man who named Greenland was from norway and had killed some people there , then he went to Iceland and killed some people there and finally he had to run away because everybody wanted to kill him ( don't ask me why ) so he went west of Iceland and found Greenland . The reason he named it Greenland is because he landed on the only place on Greenland that has earth ( the rest is ice and just a big glacier ) and it was summer when he came to Greenland so he saw only grass and things which you see in the summer , and he didn't know about all the ice
